History of the Sri Ranganayaka Swamy Temple:
SriRangapuram Temple is located in Srirangapuram mandal in Wanaparthy District of Telangana.
Once when King of Wanaparthy had visited the Sri Ranganayaka Swamy Temple at Srirangapuram, he got captivated by the beauty of the temple and decided to construct one in his kingdom. Soon after this, Ranganayaka (Lord Vishnu) instructed the king in his dream to follow an eagle that would guide him to locate His idol that is lying concealed in his kingdom itself. The king carried out the instruction and indeed found the idol at the place shown by an eagle.

By Road : Located at a distance of 20 km from Wanaparthy and RTC buses will be available from Wanaparthy.
Located at a distance of 10 km from Pebbair which is on NH 44 Hyderabad - Bengaluru Highway.
By Train :
Wanaparthy Road and Gadwal stations are near stations.
